Why do we collect your personal data?
We need to collect personal information about your health in order to provide you with the best possible medical care. You can, of course, refuse to provide this information, however this would negatively impact the treatment you receive from us.
We also collect personal contact details in order to effectively arrange appointments or liaise with you with regards to matters relating to your care with us. We save your contact details on a mobile phone in order to manage practitioner diaries and coordinate the pickup of herbal prescriptions.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We have a legal obligation to retain your records for 8 years after your most recent appointment (or age 25, if this is longer). After this period you can ask us to delete your records if you wish. Otherwise, we may retain your records indefinitely in order to provide you with the best possible care should you see us at some future date.
Do we share your personal data?
Occasionally we may consider writing to your GP/consultant to inform them of your treatment, in which case we will obtain your consent first.
In no other circumstances will we share any of your data with third parties, nor use it for marketing purposes.
